When I played Elphaba in Wicked, it felt like I was re-learning how to sing every single day. […] I’d do vocal exercises without knowing why I was doing them.

But now I know. I feel like I have complete control over my voice for the first time ever.

My Story

When I played Elphaba in Wicked, it felt like I was re-learning how to sing every single day. I’d wake up and immediately sing a few notes to see if my voice would be able to do the show that day. Even though I had a successful career as a performer and even made it all the way to Broadway I felt like I was beholden to my own voice, at its mercy, and I wasn’t sure why it was so different every day. I struggled to understand how to take the notes my conductors gave me. I’d do vocal exercises without knowing why I was doing them.

But now I know. I feel like I have complete control over my voice for the first time ever.

I began teaching in hopes of giving back to the Musical Theatre community, to bring this kind of clarity to other singers. The One Voice method will change how you think about your voice and how you craft a performance. I aim to be your biggest fan, a lifelong cheerleader, mentor and guide through the ups and downs of all kinds of performance. With my 20+ years of experience on Broadway and Off, I’ll help you become the performer you’ve always dreamed of being.

Let’s get started!
